A One Stop Warehouse Database |
| WVItembase is a database of information containing the warehousing requirements and characteristics of a SKU. It is not intended to replace existing item databases, but to be used as an additional library of information. Most item databases today relate more to an item's specifications. This would include an item's SKU number, description, weight and physical dimensions. WVItembase also contains information concerning the characteristics of an item. This would include an item's storage class, hazardous stocking requirements, and space requirements at various stocking quantities. This WVItembase is used throughout the other functions of WarehouseVision: WVPlanner, WVCapacity, WVAuditor and WVNewItem. |
